I have extensive experience helping clients address their corporate and commercial law needs. Having represented clients as both external counsel and as in-house counsel, I understand the importance of accurate, practical and timely legal advice. I have expertise with commercial agreements, public sector procurement, integrations of not-for-profit corporations, and corporate governance, with a special interest in the procurement and commercial needs of organizations within the field of health care.
I have a Master of Science from Queen’s University and a Juris Doctor from University of Toronto. I spent the early years of my corporate law practice at a national full-service law firm. Over the last 10 years my practice has had a particular focus on health law. Before founding Gleeson Law, I was a partner at one of Ontario’s leading Health Law firms. During that time I obtained a certificate in Health Law through the Osgoode Hall Professional Development Health Law Program and participated as a member of the OBA’s Charity and Not-for-Profit Law Section executive committee.
